Community Fund News: PCYC Youth Boxing Event

Collgar was proud to sponsor this November 2021 boxing program event for the Merredin Moorditj Warriors (Boxing Program) which was a continuation of the ongoing Boxing and Life Skills program that is facilitated by Merredin Police – Blue Light and the Merredin Youth Committee (MYC).

Both of these groups are having a significant positive impact working with children and young adults in our local community and the broader Eastern Wheatbelt area!

Sergeant Andrew Galbraith said,

"22 of the children and youths from our Boxing Program attended the Merredin Mayhem Wrestling event and they had SUCH a great time. For me, it was a really special occasion seeing them so immersed in something and genuinely smiling from ear to ear. A great reminder of why we do what we do!'
